A Spring Jump is a move in Mario vs. Donkey Kong and its remake for the Nintendo Switch. In this game, if Mario lands on a Spring, he only bounces slightly. If the player presses GBA just as Mario lands on a spring he instead does a high bounce from the spring. This can be used to reach high platforms and collect items. When Mini-Marios are trying to reach Mario and walk into a spring, they automatically jump onto the spring and perform the Spring Jump.
