Layout

Front Side

The level begins with a moving fish-shaped platform, along with two Koopa Troopas. Two more moving fish-shaped platforms follow along with a few Shy Guys and a Fly Guy. Three posts along with a Koopa Troopa follow, along with some more moving fish-shaped platforms and several more Shy Guys. A swaying clownfish platform then appears, followed by a descending fish-shaped platform where Yoshi can spit a Koopa Troopa shell to take out many others in a manner akin to World 2-2 from New Super Mario Bros. Wii. The Checkpoint Bell follows, along with another swaying clownfish platform. The next room features more moving fish-shaped platforms and some hazardous porcupinefish balloons, along with more Koopa Troopas, Shy Guys, and posts. The following room features a Koopa Troopa that can be thrown to take out other enemies. The second Checkpoint Bell immediately follows, along with a row of moving fish-shaped platforms under some porcupinefish balloons. The next area features a large pier-like structure, where Yoshi must enter a gold-plated door over to the right, then travel up a ramp in the background to continue across the top of the structure. The final area features some additional swaying clownfish platforms, which lead directly to the goal.

Smiley Flowers

  • Smiley Flower 1: In a crevice below the ledge just after the first three posts. Yoshi must throw an egg at it to collect it.
  • Smiley Flower 2: On the swaying clownfish platform after the first Checkpoint Bell, Yoshi must throw an egg at a timer Winged Cloud, then collect every Blue Coin before time runs out to reveal the Smiley Flower in the same location.
  • Smiley Flower 3: Just before the second Checkpoint Bell, Yoshi must toss a Koopa shell at some breakable blocks to collect the Smiley Flower.
  • Smiley Flower 4: Just before the giant gold-plated door, Yoshi must throw an egg at a timer Winged Cloud, then pound all posts that appear to collect the Smiley Flower.
  • Smiley Flower 5: On top of the pier-like structure, Yoshi must throw a Koopa shell at a crevice, which will take out seven Shy Guys in a row and hit a Winged Cloud to cause the Smiley Flower to appear.

Three more Smiley Flowers are awarded for collecting at least 100 coins in the level, completing the level with 20 hearts, and collecting all 20 Red Coins.
