Prolong frame delay[edit]

I generally understand depicting game assets as accurately to the source material as possible, but not at the cost of them becoming literal viewing hazards. The rapid flashing lights of this gif may cause seizures in some people. Can its frames please be delayed a bit longer, @Doc von Schmeltwick? -- KOOPA CON CARNE 16:37, September 9, 2025 (EDT)

I increased it to 12. That better @Koopa con Carne? Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 17:47, September 9, 2025 (EDT)
Personally, I still think it's a bit too fast, but I'm not an expert whatsoever. epilepsysociety.org.uk says "between 3-30 hertz (flashes per second) are the common rates to trigger seizures". epilepsy.com has a similar estimation: "generally, flashing lights most likely to trigger seizures are between the frequency of 5 to 30 flashes per second (Hertz)." This gif seems to be within those ranges. I'd make it much slower, e.g. one frame per second, just to be safe. You wouldn't really lose any visual information; I suppose the gif would still serve to demonstrate that the depicted object not only is animated in-game, but goes through multiple color palettes in the process. -- KOOPA CON CARNE 10:59, September 10, 2025 (EDT)
OK, I slowed it further to a frame delay of 32. Personally, I think that's too slow as it's meant to look like it glows when it does that, but I guess better safe than sorry given how much is a single solid color here. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 11:53, September 10, 2025 (EDT)
Now it now seems more comfortable to look at, to me at least. Thank you! -- KOOPA CON CARNE 15:04, September 11, 2025 (EDT)
