Within the Pirates game itself, Captain Wario acts as the main antagonist who commands four ships of his crew-mates to attack the player with arrows. After each stage, he transforms into a humanoid figure and the player must match his poses before launching one final attack on Captain Wario and his crew.

Later on, Captain Wario is humorously "attacked" by a group of players who had played his minigame, causing him to crash into [[Club Sugar]].
