Yoshi Cookie
A row of Yoshi Cookies with different shapes and designs. They appeared in Yoshi's Cookie.

A Yoshi Cookie is a cookie that first appeared in Yoshi's Cookie. It is the favorite snack of the Yoshis.

These snacks later appeared in the game Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, where Mario and Yoshi were required to bring Yoshi Cookies to Boshi in exchange for a race. Yoshi Cookies also could be used in battle where they would summon Yoshi and he would eat an enemy to defeat it completely. However, Yoshi can't eat a Boss; if so, Yoshi would give Mario a Yoshi Candy.

In the game, Paper Mario; if Mario gives Tayce T. a Melon and a Cake Mix, she will make a single Yoshi Cookie. This item restores 15 HP and 15 FP. The Yellow Yoshi in Yoshi's Village has a Melon if Mario brings him any type of food made with Cake Mix.

In the game Game & Watch Gallery 4; the modern version of Mario's Cement Factory replaces cement making with cookie making. The cookies are from Yoshi's Cookie. If Yoshi gets the Yoshi Cookies from the top sent by Mario, he would instead eat the Yoshi Cookies instead of packaging them. If the Yoshi Cookies are sent to Toad at the right side, he would package them. Interestedly, the Yoshi Cookies fit in the packages whole.

In Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time in the place Yoshi's Island in the past, Kamek is getting cookies for Baby Bowser. When Kamek gives them to him, Baby Bowser eats too fast and then he feels sick. Luigi takes four Yoshi Cookies that Kamek dropped. He gives one to Baby Luigi immediately. Later, he gives two cookies to Baby Mario and Baby Luigi to calm them down after a crash landing in Yoob's Belly. The remaining cookie Luigi gives Baby Luigi at the very end of the game, in exchange for Baby Luigi's Hammer.

A battle course in Mario Kart: Super Circuit and Mario Kart: Double Dash!! is named Cookie Land and has Yoshi Cookies in the background.

All Paper Mario games have had an item that looked like a Yoshi Cookie, but goes by a different name. Paper Mario's Yoshi Cookie lookalike is Big Cookie, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door's is Zess Cookie, and Super Paper Mario has Sweet Cookie Snack.
