I get a ton of those regularly, so don't be shy to ask me if you have problems or if you're interested in installing homebrew on your Wii

Smash Wii U trophy tables
- I guess my reason for splitting the NTSC-U and PAL descriptions into different columns has to do with most of them having different descriptions, and to avoid having to needlessly add NTSC-U: and PAL: before the in-game descriptions. And unlike the Smash 3DS trophies, a lot more information is present for the Smash Wii U trophies, which does include the trophy boxes. I've been pretty exhausted after updating the entire trophy list, and I'm not really in any mood to be going through my hard work all over again.

I remember back in like 2013 (yah my memory goes back that far) you had a thread on the forums about MKW hacking. You still do that? If so, how do you do it? For one thing, it's not your proposal so you had absolutely no right at all to swoop in and try to make all those changes, much less go and rudely lecture Pyro Guy about "making your work harder for you". Not only was he clearly starting to work on it with intent of continuing ("first 30"), but he and Corrin even discussed splitting the load in the proposal's comment section (hence Corrin edited the background) after I told Corrin not to project-snipe. But it's clear that you didn't pay much attention to the proposal, seeing as the decision was to increase sprite size 3 times, not make everything 30px, since the sprites are all different widths. Of course, it's actually a good thing you completely botched the job, really, because now Pyro Guy has a chance to go and finish his work the right way. I reverted your changes; don't touch that page again until Pyro Guy is well and done with it. - I'd argue that making the images literally 3x bigger for each individual sprite rather than making a set approximation value for every individual sprite is the more time consuming thing to do with a load less pay-off, since Costume Mario sprites have a set collision box of around ~16px of the largest sprite (due to that's how they work in game and is to balance the varying different costumes you get in Mario Maker).
- You're right that it was bad for me to swoop in, though, because had I cared more about Costume Mario, I would have suggested a set approximation value rather than being literal about the resizing thing, in which that it would make the process of auto-generating an approximate size for images far easier, so I guess it's too late for me now. - Oh, literal 3x scaling is definitely more time-consuming, since you need to check every file page to get the widths and do everything by hand instead of any sort of automation. But it's still better to display the sprites to scale with each other, as they are when they're unscaled, since it's more authentic and accurate. Even if the game physically treats them all as 16x16 boxes, it still displays them as slightly different shapes and sizes, and therefore, so should we. - Walkazo 19:26, 2 October 2015 (EDT)
- @sis I'll contact Pyro Guy and Corrin again about my idea instead. I should have done that earlier, but I haven't thought and instead spontaneously jumped to it. I just felt like showcasing what text-replacement in text editors like notepad can do, because I have recently discovered it and ever since mundane tasks like replacements in tables, I've always thought about solutions I can do that involves automatic replacements to speed up the process of such labor and then let us focus on far more important and large-scale things like cleaning up and rewriting articles so that it becomes really presentable (such as one of my current projects, which is expanding the WarioWare page. This is one of the reasons I'm interested in running a bot for this wiki, btw. But honestly, why haven't you told me about how toxic I was? I mean, the matter concerns me, shouldn't know know, I get involved with this???
- @Walkazo: In my opinion, increasing the size already reduces the accuracy of some sprites, while keeping it all the same size still keeps their proportions due to how the wiki works, and I think a px difference is negiblible, but that's just my opinion; I'm still in the wrong for not contacting Corrin and Pyro Guy beforehand since I do agree that it's their work and not mine. If I could get something that would increase the sprites of Mario Maker sprites by calculating their scaled up dimensions and auto-input it into the table, I would do that...in my sandbox page and then inform Pyro Guy and Corrin about it. But unfortunately, I'm unable to, since that would require even more complex coding and time-consuming labor than doing all of it by hand.
- Overall, I deeply apologize for my rude and spontaneous behavior. All I wanted was to help, I had nothing but good intentions. - Honestly, I think it's because I have a subconscious sense of condescending elitism and/or a big ego inside of me. Doing all of these modding in games and stuff certainly isn't helping. I can't really help it; all of this fucking life I've been told by my parents that I can't do this and that (and my dad saying that I'm either not qualified or that I don't feel like doing any job) and that my high school grades are always horrible. I still live at home with parents; I can't drive yet.
