The Mailtoad.

The Mailtoad is a character in Super Mario Galaxy. He is a purple Toad who gives Mario five 1-Ups (or 25 if the player selects Luigi) and a letter from Princess Peach. He continues to deliver mail to Mario or Luigi throughout the entire game, and will post some of them on the Wii message board. He will also give Mario or Luigi various other letters, such as when Luigi finds a star, he'll send a picture of where it (and he) is.

Along with the other members of the Toad Brigade, Mailtoad can be seen throughout several different galaxies. He seems to have a carefree personality, as seen when Mario first finds the Toad Brigade and he sings cheerfully. Mailtoad apparently enjoys snorkeling, and will often be seen underwater. He claims to have a Level One Snorkel-Toad Certification. In Purple Coin levels where he appears, he will tell Mario if he saw any of the coins underwater or not. He also tries racing the penguins in Sea Slide Galaxy, but fails to win.
