Trivia
- In the beta version of Super Mario Sunshine, Gooper Blooper was dark blue in color. Gooper Blooper was later changed to his current coloration for unknown reasons, maybe to make him look more like a Blooper; his strange blue color could also have been generated by technical difficulties.
- In Super Mario Sunshine Gooper Blooper was the only boss who appeared in 3 episodes, two in Ricco Harbor and one in Noki Bay.
