Bowser Bomb is an attack that is used by Bowser in Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U. It is executed by pressing Down + B Button. When performing the move, Bowser jumps forward diagonally and smashes down on the ground, damaging any opponents under him and launching them into the air. The move will not create any shockwaves upon hitting the ground, relying on Bowser's body entirely for damage. Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U has two new variations on the move: Turbulent Bomb (known as Turbulence Bomb in PAL regions) and Slip Bomb. Turbulent Bomb pushes back opponents near Bowser as he lands in exchange for less damage and knockback, while Slip Bomb trips any opponents near him as he lands in exchange for slightly-less damage.

The move is based on one of Bowser's attacks in Super Mario Bros. 3, in which the Koopa King Ground Pounds where Mario or Luigi is standing. In fact, the position Bowser gets into when using Bowser Bomb is even borrowed from Super Mario Bros. 3.
