Gusty Garden Galaxy
It has been requested that this article be rewritten and expanded to include more information.
Template:Galaxybox The Gusty Garden Galaxy is a galaxy from the game Super Mario Galaxy that is located in the Bedroom. It features many grass and plant themed planetoids scattered throughout the galaxy. Many of them can only be reached by grabbing onto a Floaty Fluff and spinning to glide on gusts of wind from one planet to the next. The sky in the Gusty Garden Galaxy is perpetually swirling with a light gray foggy hue. The boss of this galaxy is a fiendish mole named Major Burrows.
Planets/Areas
Starting Planet
This is a relatively small planet with two sides. On the top of the planet, there's nothing more than some flowers, a few Item Crystals, two Star Bunnies, and some Floaty Fluff. On the bottom of the planet, which is completely covered in dirt, there are only some Goombas, rocks and Spiky Plants. This is the first planet that Mario lands on regardless of which mission he selects (excluding Major Burrows' Daredevil Run, of course). A powerful gust of wind spirals from this planet to the next. <br=clear all>
Stone Pieces Planet
This planet looks a little like the Starting Planet, though it features several pieces of stone architecture embedded in the ground, including a stone pillar, stone steps, and a stone pedestal. The top of the planet has flowers and more Floaty Fluff. It also has a Warp Pipe on the underside that leads to the inside of the planet, as well as a ? Coin that makes several rings of Star Bits appear between this planet and the next. Mario can collect these with the Star Cursor when standing on the planet or use a Floaty Fluff and ride on the wind in order to get closer to them (or fly through them). Later in the game, the inside of the planet will be filled with many Spiky Plants and another ? Coin, which will make a Rainbow Star appear. A single Piranha Plant also awaits on the top of the planet, and will yield a coin when defeated. <br=clear all>
Pear Planets
There are several oddly-shaped planetoids in the Gusty Garden Galaxy which look a lot like pears. These planets are pretty small and slightly resemble a few of the planets from the Good Egg Galaxy. They each have relatively different sizes but basically the same form overall. Most of them are inhabited only by Piranha Plants and Flipbugs. They are so small and closely positioned together that Mario is able to travel between them using nothing other than Sproutle Vines. On many of the planets, Sproutle Vines will already be out in the open. In that case, all Mario has to do is spin to make it appear. However, more often than not, he will have to defeat at least one Piranha Plant in order to make a Sproutle Vine appear. On the final Pear Planet, a Prickly Piranha Plant awaits. After it is defeated, the Launch Star to the next planet will appear. There is also a hidden path among these planets, which is accessed by means of a Sproutle Vine on the underside of one of the planets. It will allow Mario to circumvent one of the planets that has a Prickly Piranha Plant on it, but will ultimately lead him back to the same planet that he would have ended up on regardless. <br=clear all>
Curve Planet
This relatively simple planet is shaped like a curve twisting to the left. On the top of the planet are flowers, another stone pedestal, and of course, more Floaty Fluff, which Mario must use to get to the next planet. However, unlike most planets, part of the underside of this planet is also covered in grass. There aren't many enemies or obstacles here, only a few Piranha Plants, Flipbugs, and the occasional Rocky Wrench.
Puzzle Cube
This planet is shaped, as its name implies, in the form of a cube. It has different obstacles in each side, such as a labyrinth, a fountain and a grassy place with a hidden tunnel. Mario has to catch a Star Bunny to get a Power Star here. The Puzzle Cube is also where Gusty Garden's Purple Coins takes place.
Question Mark Planets
The first planet only contains a Monty Mole and is the dot of the question mark, while the second one is much bigger and consists on its main body. There are three Monty Moles here that Mario has to defeat to progress to the next planet.
Super Mario Galaxy Trading Card Description
Landing here from the previous grassy planet turned dirtpath central, Mario find more of the same on this question-mark-shaped planetoid. Mario must rid the planet of three moles by ground-pounding the dirt to bring them to the surface and then Star-Spinning them out into the cosmos.
Metallic Planet
This planet can only be accessed by being latched to a Pull Star after being launched from a Launch Star. The planet is full of spiky vines that force Mario to follow a path while collecting coins and Star Bits.
Apple Planets
These planets are three big apples. Two are red and one is green. Several wigglers and a giant green worm live on these planets. The player must pound on the right tree stubs in order to allow a worm to let Mario travel through the apples. Finally, the worm leads the player to a Launch Star.
Thorn Planet
This is a tiny planet with a thorny vine that surrounds and digs into the planet. There is a life mushroom on this planet.
Major Burrows Planet
This is a small dirt planet with a large tree growing on it. This is also the home to a star bunny and several spiky plants. When Mario gets here he finds Major Burrows tearing up the soil and chasing the bunny. Mario must defeat Major Burrows in order to get the planet's power star.
Golden Chomp Planet
This planet is a bunch of grass spheres all connected with spiky plants and boulders. There is also one golden chomp that also makes its home here. This chomp holds one of the power stars inside it.
Disk Planets
These are three floating disks with a pole stuck through each one. The first one is red, the second one is blue, and the third one is green. These have five Star Chips that Mario must collect (while avoiding the Amps) to use the Launch Star to advance.
! and ? Planets
These five planets are a collection of boxes that will turn green with a ? or yellow with a ! depending on the gravity. They have several cannons and a power star at the end.
Levels
Bunnies in the Wind
To clear this level, Mario must use dandelions to fly through the wind around the galaxy landing on planets until he eventually reaches a planet shaped like a cube. On this planet, he must catch a Star Rabbit that keeps running away.

Gusty Garden's Gravity Scramble
First, the player needs to float to a planet with a Rocky Wrench. The player has to use the three floats to get to the next planet. Then the player needs to go up a couple of vines to a Launch Star that leads Mario to a planet shaped like a giant caterpillar. The player has to navigate along the planet to another Launch Star which takes Mario to an area with rotating discs. Mario has to go to the underside of the first disc and get the first Star Chip, next Mario has to Spin on the blue screw. Then the player has to climb the pole and jump to the next discs. Once Mario obtained all of the Star Chips, the Launch Star appears on the Green Disc. Then Mario lands on a section of yellow blocks. Mario has to get to the green arrow-pendulum and Spin close to it to adjust gravity to get to the next part. The player has to do the same tactic at the next green pendulum arrow. In the next stage, the player has to attack another arrow. In the final area, Mario has to avoid the Cannonballs to reach the Power Star at the end.

Trivia
- In the mission Gusty Garden's Gravity Scramble, it is possible, by performing a long jump, to fall back to the planetoids where the Launch Star is. Because the gravity has changed in the platforms, it then becomes impossible to finish the mission.
- In the first trailer of the game, the Apple Planets were shown in an area very similar to Good Egg Galaxy. Additionally, the Thorn Planet, also found in the same Galaxy, had a layout similar to the Question Mark Planet.
- In Super Mario Galaxy 2, part of this galaxy's theme plays in the last Grandmaster Galaxy mission, The Perfect Run, along with the Good Egg Galaxy theme, Bowser's Galaxy Reactor theme, and the Comet Observatory theme.
