Village Leader
Chief Yoshi was the Yoshi leader of the only village on Lavalava Island, Yoshi's Village, during the events of Paper Mario. He shows Mario the way to Raphael the Raven and gives the plumber the Jade Raven. Chief Yoshi is a Green Yoshi, chubby, and wears a green feather on his head. This dinosaur seems to be friends with Raphael the Raven and is loved by all his fellow villagers.

He also mentioned that he attempted to climb trees, throw rocks, and tease some Ravens as these examples are attempts that Cheif Yoshi did it when he was younger. The Yellow Yoshi likely call him "Mischief" because of the past attempts The Chef Yoshi did.
