Special Cup is a representation of four race courses in the Mario Kart series. In Super Mario Kart, it appears as unlockable when winning all three cups in 100cc and in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, it appears as an unlockable when winning the Star Cup in 100cc. It consists of the longest and hardest courses. Rainbow Road always appears in the Special Cup as the last course. Most of the courses in this cup usually consist of courses that are better suited for Mario Kart veterans.
