Eggo-Dil
A sprite of an Eggo-Dil.

An Eggo-Dil[1] is an enemy resembling a daisy with a smiley face in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, its remake, and its direct sequel. They are flowers with five rotating, bright yellow petals, all of which Yoshi can eat up to refill their egg supplies. They rotate these petals for a while but soon launch them in all directions. The petals can damage Yoshi, making an Eggo-Dil a formidable opponent. However, a Ground Pound stuns it for a short time and causes all of the petals to fall off. A Chomp Rock destroys it permanently. The plant's face itself is harmless.

An Eggo-Dil also appears in Tetris Attack, partnered with a Flutter.

Eggo-Dils reappear in Yoshi's New Island.
