Due to a minimalistic crediting style used by Nintendo at the time, she is often mistakenly credited by the Western audience for being the voice of Toad in the Japanese version of Mario Kart 64 and the first three games of the Mario Party series.  The actual voice actress, as stated in the Japanese credits for Mario Kart 64 and the Mario Kart 64 on Club Circuit album, is Tomoko Maruno (not to be confused with Tomoko Maruo, the Japanese voice of Zangya from Dragon Ball Z).
