Uploads[edit]

Hello, Defefefe. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups:

Images Audio/video files

When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the {{aboutfile}} template, replacing the {{uncategorized}} template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use:

[[Category:Super Mario World images]]
or
[[Category:Super Mario World media files]]

Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing.

Hello, Defefefe. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must apply the proper license. A full list of licenses can be found in the file copyright tags category, but the following are the most common:

  • {{photo}} - Used for photographs of real-life subjects.
  • {{art}} - Used for artwork of something that is not a character.
  • {{comic-scene}} - Used for scans of a comic.
  • {{comic-cover}} - Used for covers of comic books.
  • {{tv-screenshot}} - Used for screenshots of television shows.
  • {{film-screenshot}} - Used for screenshots of movies.
  • {{video-screenshot}} - Used for other screenshots, such as those from YouTube.

When uploading, select the license from the drop-down box below the summary text box, or add the license manually after uploading or if you're using the upload function from the text editor. For example, artwork of Mario would use {{character-artwork}}.

Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Don't include multiple copyright templates; choose the one that you feel best fits the file. If you continue uploading files without applying the correct license, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing.

In addition, audio files should use the .oga extension, rather than the generic .ogg extension. - RHG1951 (talk) 11:10, April 23, 2023 (EDT)

Please make sure you follow these reminders. Also, if you already uploaded as .ogg, move it to .oga using the "move" tab at the top of the file page. Lucina costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 07:21, April 24, 2023 (EDT)

Italics[edit]

Remember to add the closing apostrophes after the game title when italicising them. Lucina costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 09:45, June 22, 2023 (EDT)

Yeah, sorry about that. Guess I forgot to add them when I was updating some of the pages. User:Defefefe/sig 12:41, June 22, 2023 (EDT)

Indenting[edit]

If you want to reply, you don't indent with a blank. Instead, use a colon before the text like this: :text. MHA Super Mushroom:) at 23:31, August 31, 2023 (EDT)
