The Vertigo Trail is a Side Quest in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, located on the planet Pristine Peaks. In order to complete this Quest, Beep-0 must gain the Scan Power from the Spark Twinkle in the planet Palette Prime.

Using a cannon that is close to the Island of Darkmess Darkmess Puddle, the heroes can reach to an area that has a gate blocking a path. The heroes must use the Scan Power to find a yellow cube to place in a switch that removes the gate. A Darkmess Eye is seen blocking part of the path, as well as a treasure chest, but the heroes can use the Wave Power to destroy a rock, allowing the heroes to reach the Darkmess Eye. A Darkmess Egg is on a nearby ledge, but the heroes must use a nearby cannon to reach an island.

On that island, the Scan Power must be used to reveal a hidden bridge, leading to a ladder. Upon climbing the ladder the heroes will discover a giant block that can be pushed over using the Wave Power. The heroes must then use the Scan Power again to reveal a hidden ladder. After climbing the ladder, the heroes will reach to the Darkmess Egg, allowing them to destroy the Darkmess Eye. The heroes must then use the Scan Power one last time to reveal a hidden bridge to the treasure chest. Upon opening it, the quest is complete, and the heroes are awarded a Planet Coin.
