A Wild Ptooie Piranha is a slow moving Wild Piranha that shoots Needlenoses at Yoshi. It has green color opposed to the regular red of any Piranha Plant. However, it takes three hits to defeat. After the first hit, it turns yellow, then red before finally being defeated. Chomp Rocks and Eggs thrown by Baby Donkey Kong can defeat it instantly. Wild Ptooie Piranhas are only known to appear in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island DS.
