Template:Minigame-infobox Vicious Vending is a coin-collecting minigame found solely in Mario Party 5. The name is a pun on "vicious vestments".

Introduction

Each of the four capsules is seen inside the vending machine. The camera then zooms outside of the large machine and shows the four players stopping in front of their machines as the game starts.

Gameplay

Each player must turn the handle on the machine to receive a capsule that contains something in five seconds. A small capsule then emerges from the machine, followed by the large capsule that gives the player their reward. The capsule might contain a Thwomp, a single Coin, ten Coins, or twenty coins. The Thwomp is worth nothing.

One player always receive ten coins, while a second player gets twenty coins, leaving the other two players with Thwomps. Sometimes, both the one coin capsule, the ten coin capsule and the twenty coin capsule appear, leaving only one Thwomp.

Ending

The players that obtained coins perform their victory animations.
