'''Thunder''' is a move used by both [[Pikachu]] and [[Pichu]] in both ''[[Super Smash Bros.]]'' games. To perform it, one must press Down + B, which will cause Thunder to drop down onto the screen. It will fall onto Pikachu or Pichu, and will hurt any player that touches the lightning. Luckily, it doesn't hurt Pikachu, but it gives Pichu around 2 damage when doing this move. If Pikachu or Pichu is jumping when the attack strikes, it will not hit underneath them. It is Pikachu and Pichu's strongest move, in both ''Super Smash Bros.'' and the Pokémon series. The move is based on a similar move in the Pokémon games that is known for it's high damage, but somewhat low accuracy. However, if it is raining it becomes 100% accurate and even has a 25% chance to break through the move "Protect"

Thunder is a move used by both Pikachu and Pichu in Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Melee games, and returns as one of Pikachu's attacks in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. To perform it, one must press Down + B, which will cause a powerful thunder bolt to drop down onto the screen, in a vertical line from directly above the user. It will fall onto Pikachu or Pichu, and will hurt any player that touches the lightning, or within close range. It doesn't cause damage to Pikachu, but it gives Pichu around 2% damage when doing this move. If Pikachu or Pichu is jumping when the attack strikes, it will not hit underneath them. It is Pikachu and Pichu's strongest move, in both Super Smash Bros. and the Pokémon series, from which the move is taken. The move returns as one of Pikachu's attacks in Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Pichu is removed from the character roster in Brawl)
