As I far as I can tell, the VS Spaces from ''Super Mario Party'' have drastically different functions from Minigame Spaces; instead of selecting a minigame to play, players must instead initiate a regular free-for-all luck-and-skill-based challenge in which they wager a random amount of coins. Plus, the VS Spaces are single-use only and transform into Blue Spaces upon their only use, a trait Minigame Spaces have never shared.
