Using photoshop someone could have edited the japan box cover. someone could have copied the eshop logo, download code for text, download code no game card included text, also compatible with 2ds logo, to access eshop text. someone probably placed these onto on the 3ds japan box cover using photoshop same goes for the wii u box cover expect the no game card included text is changed to no game disc included text is changed. also nintendo has not said the retail version is japan only. NO REFERENCES

IT REALLY ANNOYS ME wario land 3 (talk) 07:24, 29 June 2014 (EDT)

>no references on an article about an upcoming game

Like, really? ExdeathIcon.png Lord G. matters. ExdeathIcon.png 07:25, 29 June 2014 (EDT)

Oh, you dislike References? Problem is yours, we will not change wiki's rules because one person dislike refs. Also, do you mind that upcoming hames need some proof or source to see if the info is true?User:Ashley anEoTselkie/sig

Ashley, you don't seem to understand, the user is annoyed that there are no references on the page. Yoshi876 (talk)
Oh man. I am sorry if i offended you, O understood exactly the opposite. I am really sorry. But talking about tge refs, there are no ones because all wrote here was seen in the E3 and its trailersUser:Ashley anEoTselkie/sig

Boxart

I saw the Japanese boxart on the gallery (and surfing on Japanese Amazon), but the image on the template at the start of the page has the American logo. The boxart can be moved up or the English logo stays there because it's English? YoshiCGicon.pngTSUNAMIArtwork of Plessie with the four playable characters, from Super Mario 3D World.

I think it should stay, 'cause as you said is english. The boxart is only japanese, because ONLY japan will have retail copies of the game, while overseas people will have to download the game on the E-shop...User:Ashley anEoTselkie/sig
In Europe, there will be packaged versions with download codes included. Yet there is no box art released - Robert ^.^ (talk)
  • Some stores like amazon and gamestop have the game available as pre-order this means that the game is available as retail copies in all countries if the game is E-shop only they would not put up this as a pre-order. 178.167.254.39 17:50, 18 January 2015 (EST)
The boxes contain a code for the download on eShop, as far I know (and as far I can read). However, this seems to be Europe-only, as that Amazon link is from UK. Gamestop looks like to be Irish. Both of them are European sites, conferming even more it's Europe-only. A bit disappointed by the price, though. Also, about the cover: it's different from the Japan one, yet it seems fan-made. Anyone knows about this? YoshiCGicon.pngTSUNAMIArtwork of Plessie with the four playable characters, from Super Mario 3D World.
  • Also nintendo has not said that the game is only available as retail in japan and only the japan box art has been shown. i pre-ordered the game of gamestop. 178.167.254.214 10:53, 19 January 2015 (EST)
  • i found something about the box art on amazon and gamestop there is an small mark on the left side of the game logo.178.167.254.193 11:22, 19 January 2015 (EST)

European box cover is fake

Just simply look at this and this and this

aaaaand how does that prove it's fake? If anything, it gives it more legitimacy. Also, sign you posts with four tildes (~~~~) Laikue (talk | contribs) 22:04, 19 February 2015 (EST)
