The status effect as it appears in ''[[Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle]]'' is almost '''nothing''' like it is in other ''Mario'' RPGs. In fact, the only real similarities are what would probably be expected: that they are inflicted from fire-based attacks, and that they're represented by the victim catching fire. Granted, the Burn status in ''[[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door]]'' is also slightly different, but it nonetheless retains the same basic element(s) possessed by the status effect as it occurs in the ''Mario & Luigi'' games. So yeah, I'd say this is fair game for a split.

Name change

Judging by the battle text in the quote, shouldn't the name be "Burned", or is there something that trumps that? Hello, I'm Time Turner.

Not opposing yet, but right now this just seems like a case of the same concept, but different execution from vastly different game styles. Is it really worth splitting? --Waluigi's head icon in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Too Bad! Waluigi Time! 12:55, December 27, 2020 (EST)
