Super Roshambo (stylized as SUPER Roshambo!) is a minigame that appears in Paper Mario: Color Splash. The minigame takes place at the Roshambo Temples with cheering Toads.

Gameplay

The minigame in action. Here, Mario has won because paper covers rock.

In this game, Mario faces off against three opponents one at a time. First, players choose one of three Roshambo Cards: rock, scissors, and paper. The cards they've selected will be shown face down. After that, the "Ro-Sham-Bo!" message will appear onscreen, starting with Mario on "Ro" and his opponent on "Sham". On "Bo!", the cards flip over. Just like in a standard game: rock breaks scissors, scissors cut paper, and paper covers rock. If both cards have the same sign, it is a tie and the process repeats until there is a winner. Mario can win coins and a Battle Card if he defeats all of the opponents but if he loses, then he'll have to play again by getting a Mini Paint Star or by paying a fee to sneak in.

Trivia

  • Once Mario and his opponent pick their cards, they is a way to tell if you won, tied, or lost before the cards are revealed. If there is a bit of a pause before the Toads say ¨RO-SHAM-BO¨, this implies that you have either won or tied. If there is no pause, you have lost.
