The Steam-O-Matic is a steam-producing device owned by the famous wrestler Sgt. Slaughter.

In The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Butch Mario & the Luigi Kid" Sgt. Slaughter had sent the Steam-O-Matic to Mario and Luigi so they could repair an unspecified problem with it.

After the Steam-O-Matic was repaired, Mario, wanting to make sure it was fully functional, went inside of it, only to become stuck; to make matters worse, Luigi and the recently arrived Sgt. Slaughter had turned the Steam-O-Matic on to full power.

Eventually, after a long while of pounding on the Steam-O-Matic door, Mario was able to break-out of it, though he was shrunken in size due to extreme steam exposure.
