Spangle is a small purple Starkiss encountered in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. He carries a tiny electric guitar and sports a pair of sunglasses.
When Mario and Luigi traveled to Gwarhar Lagoon to retrieve a piece of the Beanstar, they found it in possession of Hermie III, who had used it to decorate his shell. After beating the giant hermit crab and getting the Beanstar piece, Hermie wanted a replacement for it. Spangle, meanwhile, wanted a stage to stand on. The two found each other and Hermie was so delighted, he gave the brothers the Soulful Bros. Badge.
