Snakes (also known as Air Snakes or Candy Cane Snakes because of their color pattern) are weird animals that float in the air and can be used like planes in Yoshi's Story. When a Yoshi steps on one the plane will start flying in the air. There are blue and pink snakes.
There are also some enemies called Fire Snakes, Boo Buddy Snakes, and Snorkel Snakes. Solid Snake a character who will appear in Super Smash Bros. Brawl has Snake in his name.
