Ski Yoshi is a formation that Yoshi uses in Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advanced 2. It is overly overlooked, seeing as it is only used once in the whole game. It involves Yoshi getting on some Skis, and sliding down a hill. The controls are simple, just press forward to go faster and A to jump. Yoshi had to jump over obstacles to live. If Yoshi hit something, he would turn into Snowball Yoshi.
