Template:Minigame-infobox Settle It in Court is a Duel minigame (and a single-player minigame in Test for the Best) in Mario Party 8. Its name is a pun on the phrase "Let's settle it in court", which traditionally refers to a judicial court rather than a basketball one.
Introduction
The player will be in a basketball court, among a Shy Guy and many Goombas. The Shy Guy will throw the player a basketball, and he or she shoots it. The game begins after that.
Gameplay
The Shy Guy will be throwing balls from the side, and there will be a meter at the top of the screen, with a basketball going from right to left across it, one at a time.
When the ball icon reaches the yellow marker at the center, the player must swing the
