| Roy was an unlockable character in ''Super Smash Bros. Melee'', unlocked by beating Classic or Adventure Mode as Marth and then beating Roy. Roy is a clone of Marth, and has all of his attacks. However, he is both slower and heavier than Marth, but packs more power, and expels fire from most of his attacks. He is also the fastest of the heavy-weight characters. Overall, he is a very powerful character, but is not necessarily hard or easy to use.
