Piranhas in the Dark

Piranhas in the Dark, or Layer Cake Desert-3, is the third course of Layer Cake Desert in New Super Luigi U. It is unlocked by completing Spike's Tumbling Desert, and its own completion will unlock Wind-Up Tower.
Layout
The level starts in a desert setting with a Warp Pipe that will take the player(s) to the underground portion of the level. This portion is very dim, with spotlights lighting the way throughout the course. It mainly consists of tilting platforms that move up and down.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: Above the first Piranha Plant.
- Star Coin 2: Underneath the Piranha Plant on the last platform before the second flat area.
- Star Coin 3: Over the pipe before the flagpole.
Luigi Sighting
If the player defeats the first Piranha Plant, they will see an 8-bit Luigi.
