A Piranhacus Giganticus (also known as Mega Pirahna Plants) are a giant specie of Pirahna Plant. They are about 5 times the ordinary plant's size and are confined into spaces outside of Warp Pipes. It takes 3 fireballs to kill them, or Mario or Luigi could smash into them after eating a Mega Mushroom. They are massive and in New Super Mario Bros. a dash jump is needed to clear these biting monsters.
