Pelicans of Kitchen Land have joined up with the Brown Sugar Pirates in the Wario Land series of games. They attack Wario by spitting spikey fish from the pouch in their beak.
In Wario Land, they only appear in water, swimming. In their final appearance in Wario Land II, they are seen walking on land, usually in castle levels.
