Morton's Hammer

Morton's Hammer is Morton Koopa Jr.'s signature weapon in New Super Mario Bros. U, New Super Luigi U,, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe and Paper Mario: Color Splash. It is a variant of the Hammer, but it can now hit Mega Pokey segments like bowling balls. When Morton uses this weapon, the force of the weapon knocks a segment off the Pokey and towards the player (two during the last body segment and the head). However, after the last body segment and head have been knocked off, he becomes incapacitated, making him vulnerable to Mario's jumps. It replaces Morton's wand from the other Super Mario games.
In Paper Mario: Color Splash, Morton transforms his magic wand into his hammer which he uses to attack Mario with. Eventually, his hammer is set ablaze, and if the Fire Extinguisher Thing card is used, the hammer will be reduced to just its handle.
