During this tree level, Dixie and Kiddy Kong need to make their way through a forest of giant trees, whose trunks are hollow for the most part. They are able to stand on bark platforms and branches to navigate the maze, but unfortunately for them, the woods are inhabited by a territorial tribe of Minkies. These unfriendly monkeys throw acorns at the Kongs as they try to climb up ropes, however, Dixie and Kiddy can avoid the projectiles by hiding behind several Barrel Shields. The Kongs also encounter a few Nids, who may unwillingly help them reach higher branches. Though the level may become difficult at some point, the monkeys find an Animal Barrel, which, upon being broken, releases their friend, Squawks. This parrot then take over until passing a No Animal Sign. With the limited amount of time the player has playing as the bird, Squawks is able to use his egg-shooting skills to defeat many Buzzes.
