#{{User|Stooben Rooben}} -- An extremely detailed article that contains a long biography on Grubba, as well as a "Powers and Abilities" section for when he transforms into Macho Grubba. The personality section describes how Grubba first appears as well as the side-effects of what his shallowness did to him. It also contains a fair amount of images, as well as good intro.

#{{User|SolarBlaze}}  Yes, I agree. This article is very well-written. Especially the personality part. You described Grubba's personality a lot better than I did. Nice job.

#{{User|Dom}} - I totally did some '''massive''' edits on this article. And Stooben rewrote most of it, which is why it's good, as it's been Stoobified.

#{{User|Clay Mario}} - Per all

#{{User|Son of Suns}} - <s>The article has several low-quality images.  The shots need to be of higher quality so that you can actually make out the characters when you enlarge the image.  (Also, some background questions need to be resolved on the bottom of this page.) Lastly, probably in the history section, we should write how Grubba ran the Glitz Pit, specifically, how Grubba would talk to fighters before a fight, asking them to fight in a special way to "wow" the audience, which he would then reward (if successful) by moving the fighter up a rank.  Somewhere we should also mention the various criteria he gave to the Great Gonzales and other fighters.</s> Also per Stumpers' comments below, that there is POV in the Personality section.

:Actually, could you ask Stumpers about the Personality section?  He was the one that mentioned the problem, and he knows more about this subject than I do.  Once Stumpers says its fine and POV-free then I'll remove my oppose. =) -- {{User|Son of Suns}}

::Can do! {{User:Stooben Rooben/sig}} 17:52, 2 February 2009 (EST)
:::I cut down on it... I was being paranoid about speculation.  Anyway, I think it's all there and in less space... whether that's better or worse, I don't know, but I think it's fine... let's feature this crazy article. :) {{User:Stumpers/sig}} 19:55, 2 February 2009 (EST)
I've removed my oppose, but there is one more thing I should mention. In the "Duties" section, we need to say (in a sentence or two or three) that Grubba would actually introduce the fighters as they entered the ring and conduct pre-fight interviews - basically, he was there for like every fight getting the crowd excited and "narrating" the matches. -- {{User|Son of Suns}}
:Okay, I added that bit. Is it okay? I'd like to thank you all for helping make this a better article. =) {{User:Stooben Rooben/sig}} 20:27, 2 February 2009 (EST)
::I don't understand this part: "When competitors would experience their first time fighting, he would give them a brief interview."  What do you mean by first time fighting?  Haven't most of the fighters there been around longer than Mario?  Also, would Grubba also declare the winners of the match after the fight? -- {{User|Son of Suns}}
:::What the heck? Somehow part of my edit got erased. :| I'll go fix it, and ''then'' it'll make sense. {{User:Stooben Rooben/sig}} 20:41, 2 February 2009 (EST)
::::Somehow, part of the text I was writing here ended up in a post I was about to make on the forums. My comp must have switched the screens somehow. :? {{User:Stooben Rooben/sig}} 20:48, 2 February 2009 (EST)
:::::I'm still confused by this part: "when new competitors would experience their first time fighting."  Isn't every fighter in the Glitz Pit a veteran? -- {{User|Son of Suns}}
:::::Oh, and another question to go with the above.  If you don't obey Grubba's commands AND lose the fight, do you fight the same opponents in the next match?  If not, some of the wording of the duties section will have to be changed.  Right now it says you fight the same people unless you obey the commands. -- {{User|Son of Suns}}
*I pulled that from the game guide I have. (It's not word for word, but it's close enough to mean the same thing.) It says, "Grubba is also the referee of the Glitz Pit. When new fighters join, he gives them a brief interview." I'm not sure if they actually have solid proof that he gives an interview every time a new fighter comes along, (Rawk Hawk, King K, and all the others obviously were new at some point), or if they pulled that strictly from when he interviewed Mario. If you feel it's completely redundant, then I'll remove it. I thought that they were basing it off of ''some'' canon though, since the guide is licensed by Nintendo.
*The times that I lost in the Glitz Pit, I was forced to fight the opponents below me; by failing to obey Grubba AND winning the fight, the same applies.<br>
{{User:Stooben Rooben/sig}} 21:36, 2 February 2009 (EST)
:Wait, the article says you would fight the same opponents by winning the match but failing to obey the orders.  Doesn't the system work something like this?:
*Win fight and obey orders: Fighter moves up one rank in the Glitz Pit.  In their next battle, they can fight the fighter of the next highest rank.
*Win fight but don't obey orders: Fighter moves up one rank in the Glitz Pit.  In their next battle, they fight the fighter of the next ''lowest'' rank, which would be the fighter they just beat.
*Lose fight but obey orders: Fighter moves down one rank in the Glitz Pit.  I'm not sure who you fight next, but I would ''assume'' you would fight the fighter of the next highest rank (i.e. the fighter you just lost to).
*Lose fight and disobey orders: Fighter moves down one rank in the Glitz Pit.  Again, I'm not sure, but by extension, you would fight the fighter of one rank below you, as opposed to the fighter you lost to.
We should check it out to make sure everything is accurate. -- {{User|Son of Suns}}
:Well, I can't access my GameCube right now. So, I'll have to look it up on YouTube, or maybe in an online game guide. I think with the last two options you have to fight the person below you, but I haven't purposely lost a match in several months, (and playing the glitched version in addition makes it harder to remember things). {{User:Stooben Rooben/sig}} 21:56, 2 February 2009 (EST)
::Hopefully its somewhere...although I don't think there are many videos or guides about losing, as the goal of the game is to, of course, win.  And of course we have to catalogue like every possibility, win or lose, making things harder for us.  Also, check out my minor rewrite to the sentences you just added and let me know what you think. -- {{User|Son of Suns}}
:::Good point. I doubt I'm going to find the "Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Guide to Losing". :P I'll still look though. Heck, I might have the info in one of the notebooks I brought with me. And awesome job on the rewrite. You took the one sentence I tried to expand, and expanded it even more! {{User:Stooben Rooben/sig}} 22:10, 2 February 2009 (EST)
