Luigeena
Luigeena is a tall, lanky woman and the cousin of Mario and Luigi, who see her as pesky and a nuisance; she has a slight resemblance to Luigi.
In The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Mario's Magic Carpet / Marianne and Luigeena", Luigeena, after hearing from her sister, Marianne that Lyle Alzado would be visiting Mario Brothers Plumbing, decided to go there in order to court Lyle.
Arriving at Mario Bros. Plumbing, Marianne and Luigeena noticed Mario and Luigi weren't home, but Lyle Alzado was there. Approaching Lyle, Marianne and Luigeena instantly began to flirt with him, unnerving him greatly. After making continued attempts to flirt with Lyle, Luigeena was eventually sent away to find Mario and Luigi by Marianne.
After some abscence, Luigeena, along with Marianne, who had gone off to search for Luigeena, returned to Mario Brothers Plumbing to tell Lyle that they're date with him was off; the two had recently seen Mel Gibson and had decided to follow him home. Luigeena and Marianne then left, leaving a slightly dissapointed Lyle behind.
Trivia
- In a later episode of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! entitled "The Great BMX Race / Mama Mia Mario", a character named Aunt Luigeena appears; it is possible Aunt Luigeena is the namesake of Luigeena.
