A Steel Keg is a type of barrel seen in Donkey Kong Country and Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble. This type of barrel is not only the only thing that can defeat Koin, but it is also a powerful weapon. It can be thrown in the same matter as a normal barrel, however it does not shatter and instead rolls along the ground, allowing you to roll on it and defeat multiple enemies. Sometimes, Bazookas shoot out steel kegs, in order to be bounced on to get across an obsatcle. They also appear in a mini-game in Donkey Konga where the player must bash King K. Rool's head with it. They are set to appear in the upcoming racing game Donkey Kong Jet.
