#REDIRECT List of golfing terms#Flower Garden
Flower Patches are found in Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour. It is found on the course Peach's Castle Grounds. Hitting a ball from out of the Flower Patch affects a player's shot, making it shorter and lower. When a ball lands in a Flower Patch, Pikmin jump out. They also are found in Mario Golf: World Tour on the course Peach Gardens.

Flower Patches are also seen in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS. They are found scattered around Princess Peach's Castle, as well as other parts of the game. They are small in size and yellow in color. In Super Mario 64 DS, the rabbits often hide within the Flower Patches.

They appear again Super Mario Galaxy and its sequel. Flower patches sparkle when Star Bits or Coins are hidden in them. These collectibles are revealed when the player walks into the patches or shakes the Star Pointer at them.

In Mario Kart DS, Flower Patches are seen once more in Peach Gardens. If the player drives through the Flower Patch, the Kart slows down; once the player reaches the road again, the kart returns to normal speed.
