Do White Yoshis even appear?

I own the North American copy to Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time which features a Black Yoshi, unlike the other regions which features yellow one in the other region releases when battling Sunnycide, but I haven't seen a White Yoshi anywhere in the game despite appearing in ripped sprite sheets for the Yoshis. I honestly can't tell if this is an unused palette in the games files or I am missing something during gameplay to see this particular color in-game.
