Fear Roulette

Fear Roulette is a special magic attack used only by bosses (as Ding-A-Ling and Smithy) in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. The move takes one person of the party. When used, a red diamond appears over a member and begins aiming at a member of the party randomly. When it stops, the diamond falls on the victim and the person faints immediately. Wearing the Quartz Charm item, the member prevents the attack. This attack is similar to other instant death attacks such as Shaker, Magnum etc.

Trivia

• The red diamond looks like exactly the Fire Crystal that appears with Culex in the game.
