Dream Basketball

Dream Basketball is an event in the DS Version of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games.

In this event, players shoot basketballs into moving nets to score points. As the nets are at different levels, the player can score combos for double points. Yellow basketballs will sometimes appear and they can also score double points. There are also basketballs with items that the player can use if the ball makes it through the hoop. Each item has a different effect:

Super Mushroom: Causes the player's nets to grow for a limited amount of time.

Chaos Emerald: Causews one of two things: 1. A boo will appear above the opponant's nets. 2. The nets will fly quicker than usual.

Baloon: Causes the players nets to hover in place above each other. This is used to score lots of combos.

Starman: Causes all of the player's Basketballs to turn yellow for a short amount of time.
