This is a list of the various positive and negative status effects found in the Mario series.

A Status Effect is a condition that affects gameplay and can only befall either enemies and bosses, or the characters the player is controlling. Being part of video game jargon this term only pertains to the video game titles of the Mario series. For conditions found in non-video games, or such that are part of the plot and don't directly affect gameplay, see Category:Diseases.
