| The '''Bomb''' is [[Link]]'s, [[Toon Link]]'s, and [[Young Link]]'s down special move throughout the [[Super Smash Bros. (series)|''Super Smash Bros.'' series]], and based on the item recurring throughout ''The Legend of Zelda'' series. When used, the character pulls a bomb out that can then be thrown at other characters to do damage, exploding on impact. Like other explosives, the bombs also deals damage to the holder; it can also be caught and thrown by opponents, or detonate in the player's hands. In addition, the explosion from Young Link's bombs can hit multiple times, and Toon Link's bombs have a larger blast radius. The player cannot use the move while holding another item, as the bombs count as an item.
