The Armored Harriers (a.k.a. The Iron Adonis Twins) are two Iron Clefts that first appeared in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.

The Armored Harriers were ranked number 10 in the Glitzville's Glitz Pit. The pair are made of a type of metal that Mario cannot break through, and only with the help of a Baby Yoshi who is able to take an enemy into his mouth with his tongue and spit them back at the other enemy, was Mario able to defeat these two Iron Clefts. It is unknown why that if they were impossible to defeat they are ranked 10 instead of 1. One of them wears red shoes, while the other wears green shoes, implying that the former is older.

After Mario and his friends beat the Armored Harriers, the two warriors were downgraded to the minor leagues locker room. They formed a grudge against Mario, and attempted revenge by ambushing the plumber after he won a tough battle. Although weakened and surprised, Mario defeated the Armored Harriers a second time.

When Mario had to visit the minor leagues locker room while searching for something important, the Armored Harriers became very upset.

Despite the twin's grudge against Mario they, along with Jolene, King K., Rawk Hawk and a few others cheer him on in his battle against the Shadow Queen.

Stats and Tattle Information

  • HP: 6
  • Attack: 4
  • Defense: Infinite ( unless hit by another Iron Cleft )
  • Location: Glitzville
  • Red Shoe's Tattle Number: 80
  • Red Shoe's Tattle Log: No attacks can pierce the Defense of this hard, metallic Cleft. Are they impossible to defeat???
  • Green Shoe's Tattle Number: 81
  • Green Shoe's Tattle Log: No attacks can pierce the Defense of this hard, metallic Cleft. Since this one is wearing green shoes, it must be the younger brother.
  • Tattle: That's an Iron Cleft. That guy is SCARY. Period! What's WITH this book? It says no attack will work against Iron Clefts! It says nothing in the world is as hard as an Iron Cleft, so its Defense is impenetrable. If that's true, the only way to beat one is to whack it with the other one... Running away may not be a bad idea at this point.

Field Tattles

  • That's the older of the Iron Adonis Twins. You can tell he's older by his

red shoes. I don't think they took their loss to you too well, Mario. I'd be careful around them...

  • That's the younger of the Iron Adonis Twins. He and his brother totally hate

you. Is it a rule that older brothers wear red shoes and younger brothers wear green?
