Appleby as he appears in the character selection screen of Dr. Mario 64.
Appleby is a strange, flesh-colored mole creature that vaguley resembles a Monty Mole; his name comes from that of the popular restaurant chain, Applebee's. He first appeared as a regular enemy in Wario Land 3 and later appeared as a boss in Dr. Mario 64.
In Wario Land 3, Appleby hides in holes up high in walls, only to appear and throw special types of apples down whenever Wario is near. Wario will eat these apples and turn into Fat Wario.
Appleby is also a selectable character in the multiplayer mode of Dr. Mario 64. Template:Wario Land 3
