Beta Elements

In the debut trailer from E3 2009, there were several elements not seen in the final game.

Yoshi and Mario on the beta version of Starship Mario.

• A planet shaped like Mario's could be seen. This planet is seen nowhere in the final game and may have been an early version of the Starship Mario.
• In Cosmic Cove Galaxy, the switch which freeze the water into ice is placed on a wooden buoy-thing, similar to the place where Penguru is standing. However, it is finally placed on a tower.
• Yoshi was seen in Cloudy Court Galaxy. This is not in the final game.
• Megahammer was originally going to be named Malletoid.
• Digga-Legg was originally going to be named Digg-Legg.
• The switch that decelerate time, which appeared in a lot of galaxies, is originally Star Spin activated, not Ground Pound activated, additionally there isn't a ! sign in the beta of the game.
