Here's how to create and make useful pages:

How to Create

To create a new page, click on a link to a page that doesn't exist yet. You can also create pages by entering them into the search box and clicking Go. Note that the first letter of every page will be capitalized.

What Pages to Create

Although page creation can be done by any User, the page created must be significant to MarioWiki. For example, a page on "Ball" or "Sheep" would be deleted because they are not needed pages on Mariowiki. Creating non-sensical pages such as "ASDFG" will be deleted immediately and may be considered Vandalism.

Now, what pages should you create? Pages that relate to the Marioverse and are basically things you could not find in a regular dictionary. There are a few exceptions such as Player or Characters. If you are unsure on whether a page should be made, discuss it at MarioWiki talk:Pipe Plaza. You may also see Special:Wantedpages to see the page that need creation. Be sure to make the article name singular unless the article refers to a group of characters or items.

What to Do Before Creating a Page

Be sure to add categories to the pages before you create them. If you are not sure on what categories to add, see Special:Categories for a list of categories. Also see Help:Expanding Articles.

Made a page for an article but don't know much about it? Add {{Stub}} to the bottom of the page.

Be sure to use the correct first sentence structure:

'''<insert article name here>''' is/are ..... that appear(s) in ''[[insert game here]]''.

What to Do After Creating a Page

It is preferred that you replace all previously unlinked articles with the same name as the page to be linked by placing [[ and ]] on both sides. See Help:Link for more information.
