Morton's Hammer

The Pokey Hammer is Morton Koopa Jr.'s signature weapon in New Super Mario Bros. U, New Super Luigi U, and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. It is a variant of the Hammer, but it can now hit Mega Pokey segments like bowling balls. When Morton uses this weapon, the force of the weapon knocks a segment off the Pokey and towards the player (two during the last body segment and the head). However, after the last body segment and head have been knocked off, he becomes incapacitated, making him vulnerable to Mario's jumps. It replaces Morton's wand from the other Super Mario games.
