Mushroom Bridge.

Mushroom Bridge is a racecourse in the Flower Cup of Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and later appearing modified in Mario Kart DS. Its raced in Flower Cup and the Leaf Cup. According to the Double Dash!! manual, it is among the most famous landmarks of Mushroom Kingdom.

In the original version, this course starts out with a tunnel very near the starting line. If players look to the right before entering the tunnel they can see a foggy Peach's Castle and another island. The tunnel leads to a short road that leads into another tunnel. At the end of the course is the titular bridge, which is the widest part of the course.

In Mario Kart DS the boost pads on the bridge railings were taken out.

Another screenshont of this course.

If one immediately turns right, one can enter a secret pipe that holds a Double Item Box. However, choosing this path will waste time. Also, after the first tunnel, there is a sloped path that can serve as a shortcut, but only if the player holds one or more Mushrooms. The path decreases speed greatly. Finally, it is actually possible to go on either rail over the bridge, where some dash panels appear. However, falling off is very easy. In Mario Kart DS the player can not go on the bridge rails.
