The Hammer Bros.' Suit is an item found in Super Mario Bros. 3. This item gives Mario/Luigi the ability to throw Hammer Bros. hammers. They also gain a fire-proof shell.
It has also been referred to as Sledge Bros.' Suit.
Trivia
When this item was first discovered, a rumor spread about there also being a Fire Bros. and Ice Bros. Suit. These rumors proved to be false.
